At MASV, we believe that great design can change the world. As video production moves the Cloud, we need to find new, fast and simple ways to help people quickly and easily move enormous video content from creator to client.

MASV (www.massive.io) is a large file transfer service used by film studios, broadcasters, creative agencies, and independent creators to deliver massive amounts of data by cloud.

We’re seeking a passionate UX/UI Designer to improve the MASV web experience for our customers through thoughtful user-focused design. If you’re interested in working at a high-growth start-up serving the biggest names in media and entertainment, MASV might be for you!


What you can expect to do:

  • Dive into all aspects of design including brainstorming, wire-framing, and interactive prototyping using low- and high-fidelity mockups
  • Help evolve a component-based design system that works across all web surfaces
  • Partner with product, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure we’re elevating and innovating on product and brand experiences across all touch points (web, social, product, print, etc.)
  • Shape the look and feel of new product features and application pages
  • Ensure that user experience designs have consistent interface designs that represent the MASV brand
  • Talk to customers, prospects and partners
  • Advocate for design best practices throughout the organization, gaining alignment from functional leaders and peers
  • Actively participate in Agile development rituals, including sprints, retrospectives, and scrum meetings


Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years as a UX/UI, Brand or Product Designer
  • You value great visual design and accessibility above all else
  • You have contributed to building design systems for products or brands
  • You have experience designing responsive websites or web-based software products
  • You understand and can conceptualize customer journeys
  • You have applied design thinking methodologies to move teams and culture toward customer-centric outcomes
  • You can translate product and marketing requirements into beautiful and lean designs
  • You can effectively guide your designs from inception through to implementation
  • You are comfortable working with prototyping tools such as Figma or Sketch
  • You are familiar with Agile development and can deliver designs iteratively while managing simultaneous projects
  • Your design portfolio showcases a sound ability to solve complex problems and create meaningful results
  • You are organized and a strong communicator (i.e. you are able to explain the rationale behind your concepts to various functions and effectively tailor designs for handoff)
  • You are naturally curious and love to stay up-to-date with design trends
  • You have a sense of humour, exercised regularly
